Bronx Prep Presents Aladdin
The fall season had a successful ending with the middle school musical Aladdin. The musical was the first-ever student-directed performance for the Bronx Prep Performing Arts Academy. The Academy serves about 60 students spanning 5th-12th grades. The students are expected to grapple with sophisticated texts spanning poetry, prose, theater, musical theater and original oratory. The program rests on a model of peer mentoring and student leadership.
